Kissing right, do I kiss right?
I dunno, but I do know that I love you, right?
I’m new to this, this kissing thing, this boyfriend thing,
this thing that makes me feel so good inside.
I love you, right?
OMG, I love you so much I do I do I do.

You make me feel so good inside,
didn’t know I'd an empty space inside,
just waiting for this love of you.
I love you, right?
Yes I do I do I do!  I DO!

But do I kiss right?

Anna :o]

Karin at Real Toads asks us to pick a letter at random, attach a word to it and let our minds take us where they will.  Cheers for the inspiration Karin!

I stole my letter from Karin’s name, which in turn became ‘kissing’ and my mind became flooded with that first romance and all the insecurities that came with it. Did I kiss right?  I dunno…

Merry Christmas/Happy Holidays to all of you!  Have a good’n!

This is amusing. Nice take. And, yes loving is more important than how you kiss, right? :)

Your poem reminded me of what it's like to be young - kissing right was more important than anything else until you got the practice in and stopped thinking about it.
I started with a 'k' too, then it changed to 'sk', which completely went out the window when I found myself with 'faded foliage' and 'folds'! It's interesting where these little exercises can take you.

This made me smile all over my face
A kiss is something so powerful and I strongly believe there is no right or wrong :D

Love, love, love the cheer and delight dancing wild kisses all over your poem. The tone makes me smile... and the question is so very sweet.

Smiles. This is how it feels, especially that first kiss! I remember mine. We were on my porch and thunder was rolling. As our lips met, we were suddenly hit by a flash of light, and thought we had been struck by lightning. It was my mom, turning on the porch light. LOL.

The thrill and insecurity of first romance beautifully, delectably recreated.

Ha. This is so clever in its very human combination of thrill and insecurity. Very naturalistic dialogue as well and lots of fun (and pathos.) Thanks! k .

Love this! My Mother taught me decades ago that practice makes perfect.
