The Death Of The NHS

Read  this and weep.  Cry your bloody eyes out.  You were warned.  You did not listen.  Apathy is easy.  Murdoch provided an ideal opportunity to bury bad news - and buried it was.  I totally missed it.

Your future in health provision is to be changed.  You will allow it as it hasn't touched you yet.  It possibly/probably will  in the future when you are needy - and your needs will not be met.  Visit NHS Support Federation, read all and act.  It is up to you.  Only you can effect the halt of privatisation.  Do something for Gods sake!

Dire. And on the subject of burying news, who's heard of the Icelandic Revolution?

Sh*t, Anna. How underhand can this government get? (Rhetorical question, obviously.)

There certainly are dark forces at work...and on a global scale.

Anna, this is so, so sad. And no-one seems to know about it.

Hi Anna
Have just seen this http://www.whosupportsnhsreforms.org.uk/
(thanks to the Jobbing Doctor http://www.whosupportsnhsreforms.org.uk/). It seems the Prime Minister is delusional. He thinks the whole health profession is behind him. Behind him with a whip, I suspect.

Anna, being from the US (the ONLY industrialized nation that does not have universal health care), I lobby for full coverage for all Americans. I'm glad to hear you are active in keeping out privatization out of the mix.

Our politicians are bought and sold by insurance companies, pharmaceutical multinationals, and other lobbies. They quashed any chance at national health care. I would be happy to sacrifice some of my "goodies" in my private care in favor of covering children who have nothing but the Emergency Room when it's too late for their parents to save them... Keep up the fight.

As for Murdoch, don't get me started! Peace and solidarity, Amy

Thanks for your kind comments folks.

Northern Teacher ~ Yup, have seen it - but our delusional Dave will ignore it - as will the majority of all MPs (no doubt) whatever their colour. I fear the seeds are already sown - well, I know they are and Nu Labour planted them!

If the Bill is passed - I shall adopt a Lord as suggested by the good doctor at Abetternhs's Blog (see Blog List).

I will fight on the battlefields...

sharplittlepencil ~ interesting to read a viewpoint from your side of the pond my friend - have emailed you.
